Role Description:
Currently, we are looking for an Assistant Practice Manager with entry level management experience. The role is intended to move you into a Practice Manager role. We are seeking an individual that is highly motivated to learn the inner working of an Out-Patient Physical Therapy clinic. Your job will be to motivate, support, and lead your team to help them increase access to patient care. Assist Practice Manager with the following tasks:
Administrative Needs:
- Assist w/ onboarding admin, aides, new staff, etc.
- Patient conflict resolution
- Arranges shadowing of candidates for clinical positions
- Helping with on-boarding and training
- Help with coop and clinical student set up
- Pair off new grads/new hires with mentors and help monitor progress
- Occasionally answering phones, scheduling pts, filing, taking copays, during admin absence
Employee Needs:
- Navigating employee conflicts and working to ensure job satisfaction
- Planning quarterly outings to promote positive team environment
- Monitoring documentation cue and claim submission time for clinical staff
- Monitor and report staffing level and schedule to ensure that the clinic overall productivity approaches or exceeds 95% capacity for 40-min schedules
- Coordinate CEU/ In Service opportunities within the clinic for all clinical staff
Clinic needs:
- Supply restock and general needs for equipment
- Makes routine decisions on clinic organization and layout that maximizes workflow, aesthetics, and capacity of the clinic
- Work to Increase patient volume each year toward the calculated clinic capacity
- Active in the community promoting BSM, for example attending community events as a representative for BSM, town fairs, local events etc.
- Proper care and maintenance of all equipment. Report the need for any major repairs to maintenance service

- Insurance Coordinator/team
- Billing Department
- Practice Manager
- Admin Team
- Clinical Team
Requirements Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- No physical therapy experience necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and help the team provide excellent patient care
